Liverpool’s Adam Lallana provided an assist for Jamie Vardy in England’s 2-0 win over Lithuania at Wembley earlier this afternoon (March 26, 2017). Very nice assist, worth the watch- Vardy scored six minutes after coming on as a sub for Defoe, who had himself scored England’s first goal. Liverpool had two players featuring in Germany vs England- Emre Can (Germany) and Adam Lallana (England). Lallana played for 66 minutes before being replaced by Nathan Redmond. LFC players played a starring role in England’s 2-2 draw against Spain at Wembley. The Three Lions’ first goal of the game was scored from the penalty spot by Adam Lallana while Jordan Henderson assisted Jamie Vardy for England’s second.
Former Reds player Iago Aspas, currently plying his trade for Celta Vigo, was one of Spain’s goal scorers on the evening as well.
