LFC players played a starring role in England’s 2-2 draw against Spain at Wembley. The Three Lions’ first goal of the game was scored from the penalty spot by Adam Lallana while Jordan Henderson assisted Jamie Vardy for England’s second.
Former Reds player Iago Aspas, currently plying his trade for Celta Vigo, was one of Spain’s goal scorers on the evening as well.

Only one Liverpool player- Adam Lallana, started the game. Lallana played the full 90 minutes. Another LFC player, James Milner, was a second half substitute for Raheem Sterling (he came on in the 87th minute)
