Liverpool recovered from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw against Aston Villa in Saturday’s late kick-off at Anfield.

Andreas Weimann opened the scoring before Christian Benteke’s header made it two goals in two games to double the visitors’ lead.

Daniel Sturridge hauled the Reds back in the game with a cool finish in first-half stoppage time, before Brad Guzan brought down Luis Suarez in the box and Steven Gerrard levelled things from the resulting spot kick.
