Pete Nordsted: Looking for more winners in the Both Teams to Score market

Pete is looking to end the season on a high with two tips including one from Anfield, where Liverpool host QPR in the Premier League

Well last week our very good run came to an end when both teams scored in the Manchester United and Sunderland matches. Let’s hope that we can finish this season with a couple of winning selections.

As always here we are following a system bet and you are advised to keep stakes reasonable and always try and obtain the best price available.

This weekend we have one match in the Premier League where relegated QPR visit Anfield to take on Liverpool and we also cross over to Spain where relegation threatened Deportivo La Coruna take on Espanyol

Brendan Rodgers will be fairly satisfied with his first season in charge at Anfield and the Reds have at times played some very good football although once again they have been let down by the odd inconsistent performance.

Looking through the stats that should not be the case this weekend when they meet Harry Redknapp’s men. Liverpool’s home record to the bottom clubs reads won seven, drawn three and lost two with four of these victories coming in the last five matches.

Indeed Liverpool have not conceded a goal in these last five matches and have kept a clean sheet in seven of the last nine.  When taking their general form into consideration both teams have scored in only four of Liverpool’s last 15 home games.

The “NO” outcome on both teams to score can be backed at 4/5 (1.80) and if you are feeling a little braver then Liverpool can be backed to win to nil at 19/20 (1.95) again .

Next we move over to Spain where Deportivo La Coruna will be looking for a victory to send them out of the relegation zone when they face mid-table Espanyol. When facing teams of Espanyol’s stature both teams have found the net in only four of the last 10 matches.

When looking at Espanyol’s record the stats are even stronger with both teams failing to score in eight of their last 10 league matches and in nine of their last 12 away to teams of Deportivo’s stature.

Here the “NO” selection on both teams to score can be backed at Evens (2.0) and this looks a solid bet given the above.

Liverpool v QPR
Deportivo v Espanyol
