Liverpool is aiming to sign playmaker Charlie Adam

According to the Daily Mirror Liverpool is joining tottenham in the race of signing Blackpool’s Charlie Adam.

Liverpool is determined to buy Adam because they want to strengthen the midfield in the summer. Blackpool rejected a £9 million bid for Charlie Adam in the January transfer window, still reds boss Kenny Dalgish is hoping to sign the playmaker for the upcoming seasons.

Dalgish visited Ewood Park to watch the playmaker score agaisnt Blackburn. The match ended up in a 2-2 draw.

Ian Bloomfield, Tottenham’s chief scout, was also present during Blackpool’s clash against Blackburn.

Ian Holloway has admitted that the Scot can overawe anyone with his outstanding performance and has the quality to play for any Premier league club. Holloway has also confirmed that his captain is doubtlessly to leave this summer.
