Rangers warmed up for their upcoming home Champions League clash against Liverpool as they thrashed St.Mirren 4-0. The Gers and the Buddies were four points apart in the league table coming into this game, but that gap has now increased to seven as a result of the win. Fortunately for St.Mirren, Hibs didn’t take advantage of their slip up as they were beaten 1-0 by Dundee United.

Rangers stay second in the SPFL table currently, two points behind league leaders Celtic.

Here is how the local Echo paper rated the Reds’ players after their 3-2 loss at the Emirates to the Gunners. Mo Salah struggled- the game was a record for his fewest touches in the opposition box since joining the Reds as Tomiyasu kept him quiet on the wing.
