Poll: Vote for your FA Cup Dream Team

We’ve picked six trophy-winning sides from recent history and asked you to choose the best of the bunch ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Hull City at Wembley on Saturday

POLL

Arsenal and Hull City are both looking to write their names into the history books when they clash in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

Both sides will be hoping to join a list of illustrious teams to have previously won the competition on Saturday.

And, in association with Budweiser’s Open Trials journey, Goal has come up with seven of the most iconic teams in recent FA Cup history which are sure to bring back some fond memories.

But which is your favourite? Is it the Liverpool side led by player-manager Kenny Dalglish and captained by Alan Hansen which won a Merseyside derby against Gary Lineker’s Everton in 1986?

Or perhaps you prefer Rafa Benitez’s Reds side, who followed up their Champions League triumph the previous year with a tense victory over West Ham in 2006?

The Gunners have enjoyed plenty of success in the FA Cup in the past. Arsene Wenger’s Premier League champions of 1998 won the competition with the likes of Nicolas Anelka, Marc Overmars, Emmanuel Petit and Patrick Vieira in their ranks.

And Vieira would lift the trophy – alongside Dennis Bergkamp, Cesc Fabregas and Robert Pires, among others – with Arsenal again in 2005 after a penalty shootout victory over Manchester United.

The Old Trafford club are no strangers to glory, either, of course, and won the FA Cup as part of their 1999 treble success, beating Newcastle United.

So many to choose from! But which is best?
