Alberto Aquilani ce prvi put ove sezone u Premiershipu zaigrati od prve minute i to protiv Wolverhamptona. Italijan ce zamijeniti odsutnog Javiera Mascherana. Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Agger, Carragher, Insua, Lucas, Aquilani, Benayoun, Gerrard, Aurelio, Torres. Zamjene: Cavalieri, Pacheco, Darby, Kuyt, Spearing, Ngog, Skrtel.

Liverpoolov golman David Martin ce ostati u Leeds Unitedu. Martinova posudba u Leedsu sada traje do 30. januara 2010. Liverpool je takoder dao odobrenje bivsem golmanu MK Donsa da igra za Leeds i u FA Cupu.
