Alberto Aquilani ce prvi put ove sezone u Premiershipu zaigrati od prve minute i to protiv Wolverhamptona. Italijan ce zamijeniti odsutnog Javiera Mascherana. Liverpoolov golman David Martin ce ostati u Leeds Unitedu. Martinova posudba u Leedsu sada traje do 30. januara 2010. Liverpool je takoder dao odobrenje bivsem golmanu MK Donsa da igra za Leeds i u FA Cupu.
